Almost immediately after the terrorist attacks on NYC, Washington DC and Pennsylvania, several unscruplous Gas and Diesel retailers raised their price for fuel at the pumps amid fears and rumors the supply would drop.

     A Shell Station in Tacoma WA raised their pump price to over $7.00 per gallon. Several retailers, however said they were told by suppliers there would be NO shortage, and be NO price increase.
